Despatch Industries recently announced that it has combined with Ransco Industries, a designer and manufacturer of environmental test and simulation equipment. Celebrating its centennial this year, Despatch specializes in above-ambient thermal processing equipment, including industrial and clean process ovens and fully integrated thermal processing systems. Ransco, which was founded in 1948 and has been affiliated with Despatch since 1982, specializes in below-ambient thermal processing equipment, including temperature-humidity systems, calorimeters, thermal shock chambers, drive-in acoustic and corrosion chambers, wind tunnels, and emissions test facilities. Production and distribution of Ransco products has already begun in the Despatch facility in Lakeville, Minn. Ransco product management, design and support will remain in Oxnard, Calif.
