Donaldson and PGI Team Up to Develop Industrial Filtration Products

Donaldson Co., Inc. and Polymer Group, Inc. (PGI) have announced a strategic relationship to produce industrial filter bag media.

Donaldson Co., Inc., a provider of filtration systems, and Polymer Group, Inc. (PGI), a leader in engineered fabrics, have announced a strategic relationship to produce industrial filter bag media that will transform the present standards in the baghouse industry. Donaldson Torit(R) will incorporate PGI's award-winning Durapex(TM) nonwoven fabrics for filtration media in its first fit and replacement baghouse product line. PGI designed Durapex specifically to meet the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS), which calls for a limit of 2.5 micrometers for particulate matter. "Teaming up with PGI enables us to deliver industrial air filtration solutions that offer superior value to our customers," said Steve Groves, global product director, Donaldson Torit. "The new relationship with PGI will allow us to offer the most innovative technology in the baghouse industry in decades."
