Draeger Safety Inc. recently introduced its new Multi-IMS analyzer, a portable analyzer designed to detect, identify and measure a wide variety of chemical warfare agents (CWAs) and toxic industrial chemicals/materials (TICs/TIMs). These gases and vapors are continuously measured with detection limits below the established value limits. The sensor technology is based on open loop ion mobility spectrometry (IMS), which provides improved sensitivity and selectivity. The internal sample pump provides quick responses and recovery times, and the open loop design requires no routine replacement of the molecular sieve packs.
