The Drayton Beaumont Group recently announced the formalization of a manufacturing partnership with a Chinese kiln builder. The partnership will result in a significant quantity of Drayton Beaumont's range of kilns being manufactured in China, while the design and quality control functions will remain under the management and supervision of Drayton Beaumont. The group is confident that this move will strengthen its scope of supply. The partnership is part of a long-term strategy that will allow Drayton Beaumont's technical expertise and quality to be replicated and supplied through a more cost-effective solution for its customers' needs. Drayton Beaumont will continue to build kilns in the UK, where and when it is appropriate, and the group sees this development as complimentary to its overall manufacturing strategy.
