El Aguila, a key Mexican maker of building materials, recently installed a 120-m-long, 2890-mm-wide roller kiln from Sacmi that will reportedly boost daily output by 60,000 pieces. The new kiln will be used for Portuguese roof tiles at an annual production rate that El Aguila estimates to be near 20 million pieces. The kiln and automatic robot-assisted palletizing line (also supplied by Sacmi) will be added to the existing plant.
