Electro Abrasives Acquired by U.S. Electrofused (posted 1/15/09)

U.S. Electrofused will continue to invest in the future growth of Electro Abrasives and maintain the same high-quality materials and service levels to its customers.

Electro Abrasives Corp. recently announced that it signed a purchase agreement with U.S. Electrofused Minerals Inc./ELFUSA at the end of 2008. As a result, Electro Abrasives will become Electro Abrasives, LLC. U.S. Electrofused Minerals/ELFUSA will continue to invest in the future growth of Electro Abrasives and maintain the same high-quality materials and service levels to its customers. All of Electro Abrasives’ administrative and sales staff contacts will remain the same.

Electro Abrasives manufactures black silicon carbide, green silicon carbide and boron carbide. U.S. Electrofused Minerals/ELFUSA is a producer of abrasives involved in the mining and fusing of abrasive and refractory materials.
