Electro Abrasives Celebrates 20th Anniversary (5/29/07)

Electro Abrasives Corp. recently celebrated its 20th anniversary with an employee picnic at its headquarters in Buffalo, N.Y. The celebration included management, staff and plant employees. Electro Abrasives was founded in 1987 as a management buyout from Ferro Corp. All of the employees came with the buyout, including Plant Manager James R. Kintzel and Powder Superintendent Robert A. Mesanovic. Kristine L. Ramming, daughter of late founder and President Allan D. Ramming, has been with the company for over 10 years and has served as president since 2003. Most of the sales and quality team have worked at Electro Abrasives for over 15 years.

“I’m proud of this team and their dedication to our company and its mission to produce the highest quality grains and water-classified powders for our customers every day,” said Ramming. “Their ability to be flexible and meet our customers’ needs has helped us each and every year, and this celebration would not have happened without this great team.”

The company’s website is located at www.electroabrasives.com.
