The Endress+Hauser group has acquired all of the shares of Wedgewood Technology, Inc. The San Jose, Calif.-based analysis instrumentation manufacturer is being integrated into Conducta GmbH, the competence center for Endress+Hauser's analysis instrumentation. Wedgewood develops, produces and sells optical sensors, transmitters and process connections. The company has extensive experience in the UV and infrared radiation field, as well as in color determination for analysis measurement in process engineering applications. The company is also engaged in plant construction projects in the areas of chromatographic, filtering and fermenting systems. A staff of 21 generated sales of about $4.2 million in 2000.
