Eurotherm Announces Management Changes

Eurotherm Controls Inc., a unit of Invensys plc, recently announced the retirement of its president, Bill Perry, effective December 31, 2003. Perry joined Eurotherm in 1979. During his tenure as president, the company witnessed periods of growth and change, including the integration of several businesses into Eurotherm USA. Effective January 1, 2004, John Searle assumed the role of president. Searle came to Eurotherm through the Barber-Colman Industrial Instruments division, when it was transferred into the Eurotherm operation in 1999. He has held several positions in his 10 years with the company, most recently as vice president of sales. Additionally, Al Betz has been promoted to vice president of sales. Betz joined the Eurotherm family in 1999 through the merger of the Action Instruments business. His previous position was regional sales director for the Eastern Region.
