Ferro Corp. recently announced that Nicholas Katzakis has joined the company as chief accounting officer. He was formerly vice president, controller and compliance officer for U-Store-It Trust, and director of financial services and controller for A. Schulman, Inc. Katzakis, who is a certified public accountant, served as a senior auditor at the former Touche Ross & Co. before moving into corporate finance roles. He earned a master’s of business administration degree from Cleveland State University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kent State University.
