Ferro Corp. Names New Chief Financial Officer

Thomas R. Miklich succeeds Sallie B. Bailey, who left her position as vice president and chief financial officer on July 2.

Ferro Corp. has appointed Thomas R. Miklich its vice president and chief financial officer, effective July 7, 2010. Miklich succeeds Sallie B. Bailey, who left her position as vice president and chief financial officer on July 2.

Miklich has over 30 years of financial experience. He has served as chief financial officer for both public and private companies, including Titan Technology Partners, a privately held IT consulting firm; OM Group, Inc., a specialty chemicals company; and The Sherwin Williams Co., a manufacturer and distributor of coatings and related products.

“Tom brings a strong combination of financial and capital markets expertise, merger and acquisition experience, and familiarity with the specialty chemicals and technologies industries,” said James Kirsch, Ferro president and CEO. “He will play an important role in executing Ferro’s business strategy going forward.”
