MoreFerro Corp.’s Ceramic Glaze Specialties (CGS) group recently opened its new $3 million manufacturing and research and development center in Stoke-on-Trent, U.K. Using state-of-the-art facilities, the site will spearhead advanced research into materials and techniques in surface decoration products for the ceramics and glassware business.
“The center will be the key factor in our response to the changing demands of our customers both in Europe and the emerging markets of Asia and Latin America,” said David Harrison, Ferro CGS Group’s European marketing manager. “It will underpin our reputation, and that of the region, as a world leader in specialist ceramics technology.”
