Fluid Metering. Inc. recently introduced its new model RO CeramPump(R) for fluid dispensing and metering. The RO pump features a fixed displacement design, which uses one moving part -- a rotating/oscillating ceramic piston -- to accomplish all fluid control functions without valves. Sapphire-hard internal ceramic components coupled with a long life precision stepper motor result in drift-free accuracy for millions of cycles. The pump is ideal for dispensing and metering reagents, flush, wash and waste solutions used in fluid transfer applications having flows from 2 to 1000 ml/min.
