Fluke Corp. has received accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025-1999 and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994 for its precision measurement facility and calibration laboratory in San Diego, Calif. This achievement assures Fluke and Wavetek customers that they will receive fully accredited calibration services to the QS 9000 standard (a variation of ISO 9000 and CQI), in addition to European standards NVLAP and DKP. "For our customers, accreditation is becoming more critical at home and abroad as major manufacturers, including the automakers, strive to meet QS 9000 standards," said David Deaver, metrology manager, Fluke Precision Measurement Division.
