Fluid Metering, Inc. (FMI) recently introduced its V200 stroke rate controller for precision control of all FMI V-Series variable speed metering pumps. The V200, which is designed for accurate fluid metering in laboratory R&D, test stand, pilot plant, process and production applications, allows pump speed settings to be adjusted either manually in 0.1% increments using a convenient on-board digital potentiometer or through an electronic 4-20mA interface ideal for PLC and process instrumentation. The unit is capable of variable control of fluid flow from 0 to 4 L/min in both forward and reverse directions, depending on pump head and drive configuration.
