West Coast plaster markets now have a closer source for white, high-purity G-P Gypsum industrial plaster products with the opening of the company's new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Las Vegas, Nev. "The new plant produces a full line of industrial plaster products," said Brian Roemer, national sales manager. "The Las Vegas site strategically positions G-P to better meet the needs of our customers with value-added industrial gypsum products. After being a leader in the industrial plaster industry for the last decade, G-P Gypsum continues to add both products and resources to the business to meet customer needs. The new plant furthers our engagement in this market." The new plant will serve the North American market, particularly the West Coast. Production will include alpha, beta and agricultural gypsum, as well as industrial fillers.
