Radround heaters use a quartz cylinder combined with a resistive metal heating element. As the quartz cylinder gets hot, it becomes an emitter of radiant energy. Product passing through the heater receives uniform heat from all directions, and any heat not transferred to the product is resorbed by the quartz cylinder. That keeps energy consumption low, and energy efficiency high.
