The non-catalog sales department of Goodfellow Corp. offers a custom alloy service capable of providing almost any composition of alloy for research or product design. The company uses a number of methods for the manufacture of alloys, the composition of which can be specified in atomic or weight percent, depending on specific customer requirements. The alloys can be melted under air, vacuum or inert gas, and the range of compositions is virtually unlimited. With its expertise in rolling, Goodfellow can offer many of these special alloys as foils with thinness as low as 0.5 um, depending on alloy composition. Tight tolerances are also a specialty.
