Hardy Instruments will introduce a new weigh scale module in booth 2823 at the Powder & Bulk Solids Show, May 9-11, 2004. The HI 1769-WS weigh scale module for Allen-Bradley's CompactLogix(R) and MicroLogix(R) 1500 series of processors is about a third smaller than the ControlLogix(R) platform and provides more computing power than the SLC series. One of the new module's unique features is that it can read weight and systems diagnostics from a single scale and is entirely software configurable. Additionally, the backplane bus is part of the module, so there is no card rack.
