Harper International recently announced the promotions of several key staff members. Jeff Leavoy has been appointed chief financial officer and vice president of finance. Leavoy has over 20 years of experience at all levels of finance and accounting. William Stry, Ph.D., has been named vice president, technical director. Stry has managed the applications engineering department at Harper for eight years. Charles Miller has been appointed vice president of International Business. Miller has been instrumental in the development and growth in Harper's international business, which now accounts for over 50% of annual revenue. Frank Samol has been promoted to operations manager. Samol has had progressive promotions with increasing levels of responsibility over the past 25 years with Harper. David Nicholas joined the company as director of Project Management. Nicholas previously served as director of operations for a manufacturer of highly engineered capital equipment.
