Harper International has received orders from around the world for new carbon fiber furnace systems, and the company is currently supplying these systems on three continents. Carbon fiber usage has surged with increased demand for high strength, lightweight composites. Airbus and Boeing are major consumers of composite materials for their new aircraft designs, along with soaring usage in rotor blades for large wind turbine generators. Harper is a leader in carbon fiber manufacturing systems for both PAN- and PITCH-based technologies. Incorporating new advances in the latest designs has demonstrated superior temperature uniformity with unique atmosphere control for Harper's carbon fiber furnaces.
