Horiba Instruments has announced the introduction of a newly-designed powder jet dry feeder for use with its LA-910 and LA-920 laser light-scattering particle size analyzers. The new design includes a software-controlled vibratory feeder, based on a proven industry standard, which allows precise and accurate control of sample feed rate. This feature, when combined with an internal sample-triggering device, helps increase repeatability and convenience for the operator. In addition, the accessory has been redesigned to reduce its overall height, making it easier to operate in today's crowded laboratories.
