In order to accelerate the growth of its Specialty Minerals business and build on the growth of its Paper business in Asia, Imerys recently announced an amalgamation of these two activities into a new division called Imerys Asia Pacific. Under the leadership of Jonathan Wilson, who has been appointed vice president Imerys Asia Pacific, the new division will drive and develop the businesses of Performance Minerals and Ceramics in parallel with its already strong Paper business in the region. Additionally, this organization will generate synergies of infrastructure, services and development as Imerys builds its businesses in this vast and rapidly growing region.
