Infrared Technologies Founded by K. Irani (posted 8/16/07)

K. Irani has formed a new company called Infrared Technologies, Inc., which offers consulting services to industries where temperature is a critical factor in the manufacturing process, and where selection of the right instrument is crucial to achieving precise temperature measurements. Employed in the field of non-contact infrared temperature measurement for over 30 years, Irani was a co-founder of Mikron Infrared, Inc. Prior to that, he served as director of research and development for Thermo Electric Co.

Irani has been actively involved in the design, manufacture and management of products such as infrared thermometers, pyrometers, blackbody calibration sources and thermal imaging systems. The new company offers technical consulting services to an array of industries, including research, heat treating, glass, semiconductor, electronics and ovens/dryers.
