Inkcups Now Corp. recently announced the availability of its Diamond Etch ink, which imitates an engraved look on glass items such as champagne glasses, travel mugs and souvenirs. The ink mimics a sand-blasted or laser-etched appearance using pad or screen printing.
“With Diamond Etch ink, you don’t need a laser,” said a company representative. “Several customers have already tested it on cups and wine glasses with excellent results. They found that for long runs, printing allows time savings over laser etching while yielding a very similar appearance and extremely durable graphics.”
Diamond Etch ink has high mechanical and chemical resistance, does not contain heavy metals and complies with California Proposition 65.
