According to the company, it designed and built the 0.5 Liter Planetary Mixer (PLM 0.5) to be the most efficient pilot plant unit available for the development and testing of new products. The unit was precisely designed to provide close clearance between its two open framed blades and the inner walls of the vessel, which creates a strong shearing force resulting in excellent small batch mixing, kneading and dispersion.
