Inoue USA has introduced its new press kneader. The unit has a specially designed and engineered ram chamber for the uniform mixing and kneading (kneading, crushing, dispersing) of extremely high viscosity materials. Materials are mixed and kneaded uniformly under pressure brought to bear by the ram chamber (lid) and two tough blades set either tangentially or in an overlapping arrangement, depending on the customer's desired viscosity ranges. Trough and trough ends are jacketed for cooling and heating, and vacuum/decompression, and cored blades for cooling and heating are available as an option. Materials are discharged by trough inversion or, as an option, extruded by screw.
