INSIDE CI: Strengthening Our Community in 2010

The monthly roundup from Editor-in-Chief Susan Sutton.

We launched a number of social media-related initiatives in 2009 to not only keep you informed but to help build the ceramic community. CI now has an active group on LinkedIn, a broad presence on Twitter® and two pages on Facebook®. 2010 is the year to really embrace social media and reap the benefits that these platforms can offer your business.

We are determined to use every means available to help you succeed, and we believe that social media can be an extremely effective tool. If you have any questions about how your company can participate and utilize these tools, please don’t hesitate to contact me. A strong, active community will help all of us come through this recession better positioned to succeed in the upswing. Plus, it can be a lot of fun!

Please also take a moment each month to visit www.ceramicindustry.com and participate in our online polls. January’s topic is the CI website, and your answers will help us tailor our online offerings to suit your needs and interests. Our weekly e-newsletter, CI CyberNews, also features regular polls to help the community evaluate industry and business-related events.

If you have any comments or suggestions for CI in 2010, please don’t hesitate to contact me at (330) 336-4098 or suttons@bnpmedia.com. We love hearing from you! Best wishes for a happy and prosperous 2010.
