ISIMAT's DR 5090 can be configured to handle UV inks and solvent based inks. With five printing stations and high production speeds, it also provides an increase in productivity and color capabilities. The machine prints at production speeds of up to 90 parts/min, and it can handle items with diameters of 30-100 mm and lengths of 10-100 mm. The unit's modular design allows customers to select from a range of options such as flame or corona pre-treatment, optical or mechanical pre-registration, UV drying system, hot air drying system, or a mixture of drying systems. The control of the gas-air mix for the flaming station is linked to the machine controller, as is the output control of the UV drying system. Job settings for both systems can be stored together with machine settings. Setting can be recalled when setting up for a repeat job, and optimum settings for flaming and drying are automatically restored, saving time and reducing waste.
