IVM Begins Processing Brown Fused Aluminum Oxide

Located about 90 miles west of Chicago, Ill., Illinois Valley Minerals (IVM) is the world's newest processor of refined brown fused aluminum oxide. IVM has installed state-of-the-art crushing, screening and process control equipment for production dedicated to the surface finishing industry in 16-240 grit sizes. IVM's brown fused aluminum oxide grains are made for maximum toughness and hardness sized to ANSI B74.12 Table 2 standards to consistently deliver superior results. Led by Ron Reed, technical director, who has over 35 years of experience in the abrasives industry, IVM's management team has extensive abrasive grain experience.
