With the opening of a new office in Pleasanton, Calif., JEOL USA, Inc. now offers easily accessible locations on both the East and West Coasts for applications, training, service and demonstration support. Headquartered in Peabody, Mass., JEOL is a supplier of electron microscopes for semiconductor, biological, material science, pharmaceutical, geological, and forensics research and analysis. The Pleasanton office will primarily support the Electron Optics Division's analytical tools used in chip manufacturing. "By opening a satellite office in the San Francisco bay area, JEOL will be better able to serve the semiconductor market," said Charles Nielsen, vice president. "In addition to providing equipment demonstrations and helping our customers with applications support, we will host training programs and local industry-related society meetings." The new 8,000-square-foot facility will house a demonstration/applications lab, the company's West Coast service center and parts warehouse, and a sales office.

The new office is located at 5353 Stoneridge Dr., Pleasanton, CA 94588. For more information, call (925) 737-1752 or visit http://www.jeol.com .
