Kanthal Consolidates Silicon Carbide Element Sales and Distribution

Kanthal recently announced the consolidation of its silicon carbide element sales and distribution through its Niagara Falls Kanthal Globar(R) division. Previously, the company had marketed only its U.S. manufactured Globar and Silit(R) specification SiC elements through its New York state facility, while its Scottish made elements were handled by the L.J. Labaj Co. "We are pleased to now offer the U.S. industrial heating industry the advantage of a single comprehensive source of high temperature elements," said Chris Clowes, Kanthal Heating Systems sales manager. "The logical combination of our two respected lines of SiC elements allows our customers to specify an element more precisely suited to their requirements than ever before. With the addition of Kanthal's proven SUPER(R) MoSi2 elements, we can deliver unequalled coverage and technical support for virtually any high temperature requirement."
