Regrind quality is higher because Kennametal is able to exactly duplicate the often complicated original geometry of its drills and has the latest equipment required to regrind them so that they exactly match the latest factory specifications. The company can also provide the specific coating that is best suited to the application. Kennametal has expanded its manufacturing capacity to offer six-day service for uncoated drills and eight- to 10-day service for coated drills.
