Global demand for flat glass is forecast to advance 6.6% per year to nearly 10 billion m2 in 2018, valued at $102 billion, according to “World Flat Glass,” a recent study from The Freedonia Group, Inc., a Cleveland-based industry market research firm.
Markets in 59 of the approximately 350 metro areas nationwide returned to or exceeded their last normal levels of economic and housing activity in the third quarter of 2014, according to the recently released National Association of Home Builders/First American Leading Markets Index (LMI).
