KUKA Robotics Corp. recently announced the introduction to the U.S. market of a family of clean room robots specifically designed for flat panel display manufacturing and substrate glass handling. The clean room family includes the industry's largest clean room robot, the KUKA KR 180 L130 CR, with a reach of 3100 mm, and the industry's strongest clean room robot, the KUKA KR 500 CR, with a payload capacity of 500 kg.
