LA Pottery Show

The Los Angeles Pottery Show will take place on February 12 and 13.

On February 12 and 13, the 12th annual Los Angeles Pottery Show will honor antique pottery and contemporary ceramics. The show, which is held annually at the Pasadena Convention Center in Pasadena, Calif., has much to offer 2011 visitors. Artists and collectors alike will enjoy a diverse selection of traditional and modern pieces from nearly 100 exhibitors. Top-notch works from Ephraim Faience Art Pottery, Foxlo Pottery, and noted California potter Barbara Willis will be among the many innovative pieces that will be present at the show.

Owners of vintage pieces may also want to attend the Los Angeles Pottery Show this year. Appraisals will be offered by auctioneers David Rago and Suzanne Perrault, who occasionally appear on PBS' “Antiques Roadshow.” Appraisals will cost $5 and the proceeds will go to the American Museum of Ceramic Art in Pomona, Calif. Tickets to the show cost $10 online or $12 at the door. For more information, visit www.lapotteryshow.com.
