Continuing its business growth in Southeast Asia, Lafarge Roofing opened a clay roof tile plant in Rayong, Thailand, on January 6, 2004, and a concrete roof tile plant in Bangalore, India, on January 7. Since 1998, the company has started production at an additional 12 plants in six Asian countries. Overall, Lafarge Roofing is active in nine countries in Southeast Asia.
