The HS series, a new line of high temperature box furnaces, is now available from Lucifer Furnaces, Inc. Designed for 2450F operation, the new furnaces feature silicon carbide heating elements that are controlled off the line with a SCR power supply. The SCR automatically compensates for changes in element resistance and proportions the lowest power input to provide a steady state control. This control package simplifies furnace operation by eliminating the manual adjustment of tap switches. The furnace chamber is lined with premium grades of lightweight ceramic fiber, providing fast heating and recovery rates.
