Lucifer Furnaces, Inc.'s 5000 series, a line of large heavy-duty electric production furnaces, is described in a new four-page brochure. The brochure details the company's normal air models (the 5000 models), atmosphere furnaces designed with alloy muffles (AM), removable alloy muffles (RAM), elevator quench (EQ) and atmosphere furnaces constructed with a gas tight shell (GT). Standard air models are available with chamber dimensions up to 48 x 48 x 72 in. long, and the alloy muffle furnaces offer a cost-effective means of providing scale free heat treating with atmosphere.
