Lucifer Furnaces, Inc.'s line of protective atmosphere elevator quench furnaces is described in a four-page brochure. "Bulletin 7000" provides complete specifications, dimensions and workload capacities for the furnaces, which are ideal for low-production, scale-free applications. Designed for 2100F operation, the units combine the pre-heat section, hardening chamber, cooling vestibule and quench tank in one integrated unit. Available in eight standard sizes, ranging in chamber size from 5 x 5 x 12 in. to 10 x 10 x 36 in., the furnaces' workload capacity ranges from 15 to 55 lbs. Options include equipment for fully-automated operation, safety equipment for flammable combustible atmosphere operation, pusher rod assembly, air-operated doors, fan or water-cooled vestibule, quench tank agitation and heating, sight ports, flow meter and regulator.
