Lucifer Furnaces, Inc. has supplied a heat treating furnace and an industrial oven to Sossner Steel Stamps, a manufacturer of precision-engineered marking and decoration stamps. The high-temperature box furnace will be used to harden precision-machined high-speed steel tool and die parts.

The unit contains 6.5 in. of high-grade ceramic fiber insulation and mineral wool block, which ensures minimal shrinkage of chamber lining, reduces heat loss, and lowers overall power demand. Both units are bench models that are situated at a height to permit loading and unloading of the parts.
