Malvern Instruments has made a number of modifications to its Insitec in-process particle size analyzer in order to ensure the unit's compatibility for use in GMP production facilities. The Insitec system is used to optimize dry powder processing facilities, such as air jet mills, by monitoring the particle size distribution on-line. The new Insitec/T (triclamp) retains the robustness and high performance of the standard instrument, but uses tri-clamping for quick and easy cleaning.
