Air Products recently named John W. Marsland vice president and general manager of Global Liquid Bulk, Generated Gases, and Helium. He will be responsible for the worldwide leadership and management of the businesses that supply gases in liquid bulk form, generated gases and helium to customers. Most recently, Marsland served as vice president, Business Services, where he led the company’s efforts to streamline business support services globally.
Marsland joined Air Products in 2002 as director of Business Development and subsequently was named vice president, Corporate Development Office. In 2005, he was appointed vice president and general manager, Global Healthcare, and in 2006 he assumed overall responsibility for the global healthcare business.
Prior to joining Air Products, Marsland was employed by The Stanley Works and GE, where he held positions in financial planning and analysis, mergers and acquisitions, corporate audit, treasury, and global supply chain. He graduated from Babson College in 1988 with a bachelor’s of science degree in finance and investments.
