Metropolitan Computing Corp. (MCC) and Ankersmid recently announced a partnership to sell and support a line of particle size, shape and concentration analyzers in North America. The particle size analyzers measure over a range of 0.5-3600 microns using a time of transition method, which results in a calibration free analysis that eliminates inconsistencies due to sample refractive index, viscosity variations, Brownian Motion and thermal convection. Shape analysis, either stand alone or integral with the size analyzer, utilizes a CCD video camera microscope and data processing package to provide high resolution, accuracy and repeatability.
