In June 2005, the technical ceramics division of Vesuvius McDanel in Beaver Falls, Pa., formed a new company, McDanel Advanced Ceramic Technologies LLC. The new management team, led by Les Crittenden, president, and Chris Rogowski, manager of Sales and Marketing, plans to upgrade the business through increased flexibility and new technologies. The new company will continue to manufacture and operate from the Beaver Falls facility and remains dedicated to providing the same quality ceramic products and outstanding customer service on which it has built its reputation over the past 86 years. The company reports that its expanding technology base will allow it to offer a broader range of solutions and alternatives.
