MHI recently introduced a new Airtorch(TM) line for pressure vessel (PV) type applications. The PV Airtorch outer casing is made with high-grade stainless steel like the original Airtorch, but has flanges on both ends to create a seal. The PV Airtorch can create exit temperatures up to 1000C with various atmospheres. Available models range from 1 kW to 15 kW power output, with rating up to 3 bar. Typical applications include automotive exhaust simulation, fuel cell, packaging and drying. The new line also works well with furnaces to create convection using air, argon or N2.
