Micromeritics Instrument Corp.: Stimulus Packages (posted 4/23/09)

Micromeritics is offering a limited-time materials characterization stimulus package to U.S. industrial laboratories and academic institutions.

Academic institutions and industrial research, quality control, process control, and production laboratories are all finding it difficult to justify and acquire new or replacement laboratory instrumentation. To ease the cost burden and make it easier for laboratories to purchase necessary materials characterization instrumentation, Micromeritics is offering a limited-time stimulus package to U.S. industrial laboratories and academic institutions.

A number of different stimulus options are available. First-time purchasers of Micromeritics’ products are eligible for the company’s line of surface area, porosimetry, density, particle size or chemisorption instruments with deferred payments-no payments or interest for 12 months.

Micromeritics has also instituted a gas adsorption, surface area/porosity analyzer trade-in program. The company will accept an existing instrument, regardless of manufacturer, as partial payment (up to 50% of the purchase value) toward any new Micromeritics’ physisorption product.

As a third option, U.S. academic institutions can now purchase a materials characterization instrument without service worries. The company is offering a five-year parts and labor service agreement to universities that purchase any Micromeritics’ instrument.

All sales are subject to full U.S. list prices, and no two offers can be used in the same purchase. For additional details, e-mail ussales@micromeritics.com or visit www.micromeritics.com.
