Miller Named Director of Ballistic Systems Development for CPC (posted 8/10/07)

Ceramic Protection Corp. (CPC) recently announced that Jon Miller has joined the organization as its director of ballistic systems development. Miller brings more than 27 years of experience in all aspects of light armor design, development, integration, manufacturing and contract administration to the corporation.

Prior to joining CPC, Miller assumed titles of increasing responsibility during a lengthy tenure at Ceradyne, Inc., including armor design and manufacturing engineer, armor production manager, and armor development engineer.

“Jon has successfully developed and produced mission-specific body armor and vehicle armor systems for U.S. Armed Forces, in addition to having managed multiple complex developmental and production armor programs simultaneously,” said Doug Stafford, chief operating officer of CPC. “He has developed extremely cost-effective manufacturing techniques for volume production of body armor and has designed and successfully qualified two of the most volume-produced body armor products. We are confident that Jon’s experience and technical skills will augment our management team and will accelerate our delivery of new product capabilities to market.”
