Miller Named President of Harper International (posted 3/2/09)

Harper International recently announced the appointment of Charles W. Miller, Jr. to the position of president. Miller joined Harper in 1995 and has performed in progressive management positions, most recently as vice president of International Business.

A graduate of Alfred University, Miller holds numerous U.S. and international patents. He served as New England Section Chair of The American Ceramic Society and Program Chair of the Materials & Equipment Division of The American Ceramic Society. Miller has focused on the creation of advanced thermal processing systems and techniques for the majority of his professional career.

According to the company’s board of directors, “We are confident that the selection of Mr. Miller as president assures the continued successful growth of Harper International. We look forward to leveraging his knowledge and experience in the thermal processing industry. This, coupled with his demonstrated accomplishments and leadership, will yield value for the shareholders, clients and employees.”
