A handling system for spray-dried powders transfers the powders from the fixed silos (downstream from the spray-dryer) to the relevant press feeding, mixing or re-granulation stations by means of small mobile silos mounted on automatically guided vehicles. The plant control PC decides (as a function of production settings) when to issue mobile silo filling orders, when to send silos to the standby area and when to send them to the press extraction/dosing stations or the mixing/re-granulation units. Silo capacity is 9 m3 and the total weight capacity is 10 tons.
